Automation Engineer
This is where you'll excel
- Take over the responsibility (Resolving and reporting) of customer support cases
- Provide a proper support and handover to the CS manager for the further incident handling
- Develop software packages for our web-based MES system
- Implement control system / MES customer projects
- Implement interfaces to various ERP systems (SAP, Microsoft Dynamics 365, Oracle)
- Continuously improve and further develop existing products
- Coach and support our global engineering organizations
- Support commissioning of control systems both domestically and abroad
- Support Project Manager to ensure a proper project execution according the Bühler Project Management process
- Track schedules to ensure his parts of the projects are executed completely and on time.
- Prioritize and manage work hours to support budgeted hours and scheduled due dates for projects
These are the skills you'll need
- Bachelor's degree in Automation Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or Industrial Engineering or any related Engineering degree
- At least 2–3 years of experience in automation design, implementation, or commissioning
- Hands-on experience with automation tools
- Proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues
- Understanding of manufacturing principles
- Proficiency in English language
