Global Business Services (GBS) Team Manager 
  • Oversee day-to-day operations of the Accounts Receivable (AR), Accounts Payable (AP), and Record-to-Report (R2R) teams within the GBS Accounting organization. 
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls, Group Accounting policies, and relevant financial regulations. 
  • Manage month-end and year-end closing activities, including journal entries, reconciliations, and financial reporting. 
  • Drive process improvements, automation, and standardization across GBS finance activities. 
  • Monitor team performance metrics and ensure service level agreements (SLAs) are met. 
  • Provide coaching, mentoring, and development opportunities to team members. 
  • Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous learning. 
  • Collaborate with cross-functional and SAS Offices within SEA region and Singapore regional office. 
  • Support finance transformation initiatives, including SAP enhancements and system implementations. 


Record-to-Report  
  • Deliver operational Record-to-Report (R2R) services in line with service level agreements and internal controls. 
  • Collaborate closely with the Accounts Receivable (AR), Accounts Payable (AP) teams, and local legal entity Finance Manager to ensure accurate financial reporting. 
  • Perform general ledger and asset accounting activities, including journal entries and depreciation runs. 
  • Execute period-end closing tasks, including preparation of balance sheet schedules and account reconciliations. 
  • Review staff expense claims and intercompany third-party payment runs prepared by the AP team. 
  • Support Legal Entity Finance Manager to prepare statutory tax reports etc. 
These are the skills you'll need
  • Degree in Accounting/Chartered Accountant or ACCA equivalent
  • Minimum 10 years' working experience in accounting
  • Team leadership experience, minimum 5 years' experience leading accounting/finance teams 
  • Proven people management skills, including goal setting, performance reviews, coaching, and mentoring 
  • Experience in workload planning, task delegation, and capacity/resource management
  • Accounting qualified with extensive experience in a senior shared services role within a large dynamic organization  
  • High proficiency in IFRS accounting standards
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook).  
  • Proficient in use of SAP & Onestream system
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong stakeholder management
