Team Manager, Process Engineer
The role ensures the on-time, in-full delivery of assigned technology tasks in line with the Project Contract, DoW, Master Time Schedule, and project cost targets across all active projects. It drives customer- and business-oriented process solutions during the sales phase-including defining Performance Guarantees-and provides technical support to the Sales team. The role also builds and maintains a capable resource pool, developing skills and capacity to staff projects effectively and deliver consistently high-quality service. Throughout execution, it ensures strict adherence to Quality, EHS, and Bühler Engineering standards.
- Build and develop a team, establishing foundational processes and culture
- Establish and enforce proper Technology processes, covering all Projects/Work in execution for the BA/BU assigned.
- Identify & assign resources to support Projects in execution (including work assigned to other locations).
- Ensure timely and accurate forecasting and identify risks and opportunities.
- Advise the project team/team member and work closely with them to develop corrective action plans.
- Regularly review and monitor project/work progress by checking the technology progress.
- Ensure on-time, complete delivery of Process engineering work packages
- Supervise, support, train and coach the Team Members and PE HUB Members
- Lead and motivate technology teams by establishing an open and broad communication of the principles, objectives and processes.
- Define, together with staff, goals and objectives aligned with the Department needs.
- Ensure enough workload for the team, aiming to achieve a '0' Zero Coverage difference.
- Create tools and compile data that can be used to boost the sales of the business Units.
- Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in Engineering, Technical background.
- Minimum 10 years relevant experience with 5 years of experience in Technology/Process Engineering
- 2 to 3 years supervisory experience
- Good commercial knowledge for assessing business risks and opportunities
- Knowledge of project management and techniques
- Insightful, able to collaborate with other management team members in developing strategy and implementing business plans
- Strong planning, organizing and priority setting skills, with a proven ability to manage teams
- Broad technical and commercial knowledge covering multiple disciplines
- Proficiency in English language
