Job Responsibilities

You will carry out commissioning and service work such as repairs, conversions, inspections, maintenance and servicing of individual machines and systems at home and abroad
You will provide technical support and assistance to our global customer base by telephone or on site and maintain customer contacts
You will analyze and rectify faults/problems with the relevant specialist departments
You will train customer employees in machine operation during the service assignment
You will be involved in updating the machine software

Qualifications

You have completed vocational training as a mechatronics technician (m/f/d), industrial mechanic (m/f/d), electrician (m/f/d) or similar, preferably with further training as a master craftsman/technician (m/f/d) or a degree in electrical engineering
You have professional experience in mechanical and plant engineering, ideally in the field of vacuum coating
Knowledge of PLC programming (Beckhoff: TwinCAT 2 & 3) is an advantage
You communicate very well in English
An independent and customer-oriented way of working and a willingness to travel worldwide round off your profile
