Bühler Leybold Optics is an expert in developing and manufacturing high-tech thin-film vacuum coating technology with a focus in optical and photonics applications, such as optics in cell phones, cars, eyewear and more. As (Junior) Product Manager (m/f/d) in the Semiconductor division you will independently develop and take responsibility for this product area. You will take over the entire life cycle management and contribute to our strategy with your valuable ideas. Job Responsibilities

  • Taking responsibility for the life cycle management of the Semiconductor product group from product development and market launch to product maintenance and product scheduling
  • Constantly monitoring market developments and trends and assuring input in the organization
  • Overseeing the project management of innovation projects
  • Creating product documentation in cooperation with the marketing department
  • Working closely together with the Head of the Business Unit and supporting our worldwide Sales Team by providing advice on customer projects and participation in trade fairs

Qualifications

  • Successfully completed a scientific or technical degree, e.g. in physics, materials science, mechanical engineering or similar
  • At least first experience in either Product Management, Sales, R&D, Process Engineering or Interface Programming
  • Knowledge of the Semiconductor industry and its requirements as well as in vacuum and thin film technology
  • Proven track record of successful new and further development of products as well as product standardization and cost optimization is of advantage
  • Business fluent in English, German language skills are of advantage
  • Excellent communicator with professional representation skills who is willing to travel worldwide
  • Trustworthy, convincing and loyal person with a high goal orientation
