The CS Sales Manager is responsible for developing and successfully executing strategies for profitable growth across new and existing customer portfolios, sales channels and prioritized manager’s tasks and delivering performance of Customer Relationship (CR) Team.
Strategically:
- Fully responsible to achieve CS Order Release and Profit targets for countries assigned, contributing to the continuous business growth in CS.
- Responsible for achieving targeted sales and revenue performance across customer portfolio and new sales, developing/executing effective plans in alignment with global/regional CS strategies.
- Evaluate potential and opportunities in the CS markets based on market trend and customer feedback as well as general economic situation.
- Create new service solutions with the support of Business Unit specialists.
- Initiative the strategic to develop the market including promotion planning.
- Support the development of regional and various divisional for CS Sales strategies.
- Maintain and update customer information in CRM
- Be able to provide 3 months forecast sales order
Operationally:
- Lead, coach and develop CR Team, consistently achieve quota, and proactively manage territory to grow appropriate pipeline mix of prospects at various stages of the sales cycle.
- Execute with consultative, value based selling practices, including competitive positioning, pricing models, correspondence and presentation templates, and objection removal strategies.
- Maintains deep knowledge of market, company products, services and solutions and tasked with introducing new products.
- Business and budget responsibility for the CS portfolio in Thailand.
- Active development of the CS business (turnover and profit) including overhaul, spare parts sales, repair and maintenance, consulting, service, training etc.
- Manage CS product portfolio and lead new products to market success.
- Represent Buhler in customer discussions with senior executives level, while creating formal networks with key internal and external decision makers, customers, and partners.
- Work closely with Finance Department to ensure proper invoicing and payment of customers for CS related services and orders.
- Conduct and plan customer visits and follow-up calls.
People Management & Succession Planning:
- Develops strategies to promote team member adherence to company regulations and performance goals.
- Foster an engaging and high-performance team culture in countries assigned.
- Providing CR Team members with tips and training to achieve a competitive edge in their role and our industry.
- Clearly communicate and monitor the progress of sales goals achievement: daily, weekly, or monthly.
- Motivate employees to reach individual sales goals and encourage the staff to work better, rather than harder.
- Generates and shares comprehensive and detailed reports about team performance, mission-related objectives, and deadlines.
- Responsible for preparing and delivering sales reports to management.
Requirements / Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or business-related discipline with the minimum of 5 years’ sales experience.
- Experience in leading, developing and coaching geographically dispersed teams and performance minimum 4 years.
- Legal and commercial experience e.g. Incoterms.
- Demonstrate good marketing knowledge.
- Project management and start-up experience is an advantage.
- Strong ability to establish effective relationships with senior executives and key industry partners.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with an emphasis on translating insights, product solution information and data into client value.
- Proven sales success expert in driving results across sales cycles and stages, including C-level relationship management, financial and contract negotiations.
- Ability to understand customer’s requirements and to translate them into solutions.
- Highly flexible, multicultural understanding and able to work in team.
- Able to work under pressure and deadlines.
- Results-oriented and excellent problem-solving capabilities.
- Good team building and leadership skills.
- Good interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate and influence.
- High level of independence and sense of ownership.
