Summary

Purpose

As a Project Engineer Mechanical, you will perform engineering work related to design of products, tools, machines, and other mechanical equipment related to BuhlerPrince products, industrial equipment, or processing according to established procedures.   

Job Responsibilities

  • Primary Responsibilities

  • Performs functional and empirical analysis related to designs
  • Inputs design into CAD system
  • Develops Bills of Material (BOM)
  • Completes necessary documents to release designs to production
  • Assists in machine start-up and run-off
  • Additional Responsibilities

  • Develops testing devices and fixtures of a mechanical nature
  • Assists other mechanical project engineers as needed     
  • May participate in multi-functional design teams

Qualifications

  • Required Skill and Experience

  • 4-year Mechanical Engineering degree or other equivalent training or experience
  • Highly developed computer skills in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Good oral and written communication skills.
  • Experience working in a team environment 
  • Preferred Skill and Experience

  • Experience in machine design
  • Experience in Siemens NX, SolidWorks, & AutoCAD software
  • Experience in DFMA and FMEA processes
