Product Manager, Business Unit Optical Sorting
Our Optical Sorting business has been in operation since 1947 and has been at the forefront of pioneering optical sorting solutions and has been awarded 5 Queens Awards. Our sorters have the capability of sorting through over 300 commodities and our business is regarded as one of the most highly trusted technology providers globally, for sorting solutions.
Responsibilities:
Reporting to the Head of Product Management, Business Unit Optical Sorting the Product Manager, Business Unit Optical Sorting will be responsible for:
- Defining the data-driven solution vision & strategy for Optical Sorting incl. new operating models, and roadmap to achieve business goals.
- Collecting customer needs & insights globally translating them into actionable requirements for our equipment and service portfolio, delivering intuitive digital solutions addressing real customer pain points.
- Driving the product service roadmap in strong collaboration with engineering, data science and marketing teams to design, develop, and launch industry leading products.
- Facilitating communication and collaboration to ensure successful product delivery.
- Establishing a close relationship with stakeholders in regions (sales, field service engineers, management) & Core-BUs to transform the mindset towards profitable growth of the digital business incl. shaping the right organization, tools and processes.
Essential Qualifications:
- Ideally Batchelors degree in Data Science, Business, Engineering or a related field.
- Demonstrable experience in product management; preferably in a SaaS or Industry 4.0 environment.
- Knowledge of data integration, MES platforms and Industry 4.0 implementation is a plus.
- A Customer centric approach: A deep understanding of user needs and a passion for delivering solutions that meet those needs.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Ability to work independently and problem solve with a creative and resourceful approach to overcome challenges.
- Effective Collaborator within cross-functional teams, fostering a culture of teamwork and continuous improvement.
