Summary

Are you passionate about Human Resources and looking for an opportunity to support a dynamic and engaged organization? We're seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented HR Administrative Assistant to join our team! The HR Admin will be responsible for providing administrative support to the HR department, assisting with daily operations, and ensuring the efficient and smooth operation of HR tasks. This role involves a variety of responsibilities such as handling employee records, processing HR documents, supporting benefits administration  and our local learning center. 

The wage for this position is $22 - $28/hr. 

Job Responsibilities

  • Maintains employee records and other HR documents, ensuring completeness and accuracy 
  • Supports Wellness initiatives and employee engagement events  
  • Assists with orientation of new employees 
  • Supports local learning center by coordinating training sessions, development programs, and maintaining training records 
  • Answers general Buhler phone calls  
  • Maintains department calendar and schedules meetings
  • Takes detailed notes of information during department meetings
  • Checks and sorts department mail and email 
  • Stocks and refills office supplies and refrigerators  
  • Completes yearly Motor Vehicle Records check  
  • Tracks and maintains records of Buhler vehicles and housing  
  • Monthly anniversary and birthday announcements and certificates  
  • Assists with charitable giving program 
  • Assists with benefit invoice preparation and vendor management 
  • Must arrive at work promptly and predictably 
  • Performs other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • High School degree, Associates degree desired, 2+ years of experience in office administration
  • Proficient Microsoft Office skills, HRIS desired  
  • Teamwork - works collaboratively within a group to achieve a common goal
  • Excellent organizational skills 
  • Willing to learn new systems and processes  
  • Ability to handle and maintain confidential information 
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills and relationship building skills to effectively work with a variety of people and personalities
  •  Able to communicate clearly and effectively in person and in writing internally and externally 
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision and make decisions independently, effectively, and creatively within established company guidelines  
  • Attention to detail and excellent customer service skills 
  • Oral and Written Communication - presents information, analysis, and ideas in writing in a clear and concise manner; speaks clearly so that others can hear and understand what is being said 
  • Speaks and understands English
