Job Responsibilities
The Service Engineer will build and maintain collaborative relationships with customers and provide high-quality technical service to customers’ installation during the entire life cycle. The role will report to Customer Service Manager based in South Korea, Seoul.
Other Responsibilities include:
• Perform basic repairs and maintenance on machines
• Assists senior engineers in performing machine installation, maintenance and inspections
• Troubleshoot problems at customer’s site and/or over the phone
• Perform simple retrofit actions
• Provide experience feedback to other projects and functions
• Assemble and test Bühler’s products at customer sites according to established procedures and safe work practices
• Create delegation reports
• Coordinate with internal or external technicians during startups or maintenance jobs
• Coordination of designated tasks with other functions within the Business unit
• Develop technical experience and know-how
Qualifications
The Service Engineer will possess exceptional communication skills, agile in his/her approach and is a good team player.
The successful candidate will have:
• Bachelor or similar education in Mechatronics &/or Electrical &/or Mechanical Engineering
• Minimum 3 years of experience in the industry, including experience in his field of specialization
• Business level communication in English and Korean Languages due to the nature of the scope
• Systematic problem-solving skills
• Good communication skills, including the ability to interface effectively with internal & external stakeholders
• Sound judgment and decision-making skills
• Innovative Thinking
• Good time management
• Willingness to travel locally and internationally.
• Proven ability to work in a matrix organization
• Insightful, able to collaborate with other team members in providing support to the customer
