Summary
The Regional Contractual Services Manager owns the contractual solutions in the region and supports the Sales Community by creating awareness of Bühler’s Services portfolio, developing contractual agreement opportunities, and securing them as orders. It is an important role, focusing on defining the scope, cost and commercial terms, and growing the Service Agreement business.
Job Responsibilities
- Take overall ownership of assigned portfolio service agreements (eg: Remote, Inspection and Maintenance services) to fulfil obligations toward customer satisfaction.
- Serve as the main point of contact for all service agreements matters and ensure timely and successful delivery of the services solutions according to customer needs and objectives by collaborating closely with different functions in Sales, Project execution, Field Service, Parts operation, Automation team, etc.
- Identify new business and actively seeking new opportunities in partnership with the Sales teams.
- Oversee the agreements renewal management and cost controlling.
- Responsible for creating integrated proposal that align with both customer and Buhler’s needs ensuring a balanced approach.
- Lead opportunity development, quotation, and negotiation of related complex services agreements
- Maintain accurate records of quotations, contracts, handover communications and related documentation.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders regarding quotation status pricing updates, handover progress and contract negotiations.
- Engage with Bühler’s central team where relevant and share experiences to improve the portfolio and customer experience continuously
- Support the implementation of service agreements framework, know-how, processes and tools within the region organization.
Qualifications
The Regional Contractual Services Manager will possess exceptional communication skills, agile in his/her approach and is a good team player.
The successful candidate will have:
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration or engineering.
- At least 5 years of experience in front-end value selling.
- Sound understanding of maintenance methods and maintenance planning.
- Sound commercial understanding and risk management.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Fluent in written and spoken English due to the nature of the scope.
- Self-driven with an entrepreneurial mindset to grow the business.
- Ability to communicate in a matrix organization across multiple businesses and industries on a regional scale.
- Ability to influence without authority.
