Buhler is the global specialist and technology partner in the supply of plants and services for processing grain and food as well as for manufacturing high-grade materials. Buhler is active in over 140 countries and has over 11,000 employees worldwide.

Our internal audit team plays a key role in creating value for its stakeholders through identification of risks and opportunities and ensuring existence of governance and risk management processes. Delivering business value and solid assurance to our stakeholders define what we do every day. This vision and passion to make a difference make you stand out. You will be directly reporting to the Head of Group Internal Audit.

Job Responsibilities

  • Internal Control System (ICS) and Control Self-Assessment (CSA):

  • Manage Bühler’s global ICS and Self-assessment process, including system updates, access management, trainings, and regional coordination.
  • Roll out annual internal controls and self-assessment questionnaires.
  • Analyze results and prepare management presentations.
  • Data-Driven Continuous Audits:

  • Contribute to virtual global continuous audits in various business processes, focusing on financial reporting.
  • Assist in developing audit scope for new areas.
  • Legal Entity Audits:

  • Assist in audit planning, preparation, and coordination with local management.
  • Participate in fieldwork, interviews, and testing, including travel (approx. 15%-20%).
  • Other Responsibilities:

  • Support the Head of Corporate Audit with tasks such as risk assessment, follow-up on audit recommendations, and continuous improvement.

Required Qualifications

  • You are studying towards your Bachelor / Master degree in finance, operations, accounting, risk management or any other similar discipline
  • You are interested in learning about audit and diverse business processes and applying the principles of auditing in day-to-day job.

  • You are interested in driving insights using data analysis. Proficiency in using excel / word / powerpoint.

  • Your English is fluent (spoken and written)
