Summary

Are you enthusiastic about process solutions for new food trends as well as traditional feed and food markets? Then our Value Nutrition business area is the right place for you. We are the global solution and technology partner for manufacturers of animal and fish feed, pet food, pasta and noodles, vegetable oil, cereals and snacks as well as alternative protein solutions and insect technology.

We are looking for a committed and motivated person to join our Commercial Management Team as Commercial Manager. As a member of the Commercial & Business Excellence department, you will provide operational support to the various market segments within the business area and be responsible for their commercial interests.

Job Responsibilities

  • You create the commercial concepts for customer projects and support and advise the sales team
  • You enjoy conducting commercial customer and supplier negotiations and intervening in the event of contract disruptions during project execution
  • You will develop financing concepts, non-disclosure agreements, framework agreements and other third-party contracts in collaboration with our Financial and Legal Services teams
  • You are responsible for accounts receivable management
  • You are passionate about implementing and improving efficient commercial processes and actively drive this forward

Qualifications

  • Completed studies (university, university of applied sciences, MBA) in business administration/law or business administration with appropriate further training (export manager, higher professional examination, etc.) paired with several years of professional experience in a similar environment
  • Very good understanding of international contract law, export financing aspects (including taxes, trade affairs and sanctions, compliance, logistics, etc.) and financial contexts
  • Negotiation skills and experience in negotiating projects with international customers
  • Very good communication skills in English, German is a plus 
  • Willingness for worldwide business trips (approx. 10%)
  • High degree of independence, assertiveness and flexibility
  • Proactive, positive, reliable, entrepreneurial, team-oriented personality
