Summary
Value Nutrition is the global solution and technology partner for producers of animal feed, pet food, aqua feed, pasta and noodles, vegetable oil, cereals, and snacks.
As part of our Value Nutrition Business Area, you will be at the forefront of creating and maintaining high-quality technical documentation that is critical for the successful global deployment and operation of our advanced solutions.
Job Responsibilities
- You develop, maintain, and update comprehensive technical documentation for Bühler's Value Nutrition product portfolio, including user manuals, installation guides, maintenance documentation, and technical specifications.
- You ensure that all documentation adheres to global standards, including European and North American regulations, to meet both internal and external compliance requirements.
- You act as a key member of the R&D team, working closely with global R&D teams. Take responsibility for the technical documentation within the Value Nutrition area and collaborate with the global technical documentation team located in R&D hubs in North America and China.
- You document integral products that combine mechanical elements, automation, and software, ensuring accuracy and clarity in the documentation provided to users.
- You identify and implement improvements in documentation processes to enhance efficiency and quality.
- You coordinate and align documentation standards and processes across global teams, ensuring consistency and quality in technical communication worldwide.
Qualifications
- You have a bachelor’s degree in technical writing, engineering, or a related field. Equivalent experience in technical documentation roles within an engineering context will also be considered.
- Experience in the food or feed industry is a plus, but experience in industries that deal with capital goods on a global basis, particularly within a manufacturing and engineering context, is essential.
- You have a strong understanding of electromechanical products and the ability to document complex systems involving mechanical, automation, and software components.
- Fluency in English is essential, both written and oral. Proficiency in German is a plus.
- You have the ability to work effectively in a global, intercultural environment with strong collaboration and communication skills.
- Willingness to travel internationally, approximately 10% of the time, to support global teams and projects.
- You feel comfortable working within an international team and dealing with the dynamics of a global workforce, especially in R&D hubs in the US and China.
- Familiarity with global standards and regulations, particularly in Europe and North America, is a strong advantage.
