Summary
Job Responsibilities
- Plan and lead Quality Assurance and Quality control initiatives across the Greater China region to ensure products and services meet both local and international regulations and standards.
- Develop and implement a Total Quality Management (TQM) system, driving continuous improvement and lean management processes.
- Regularly evaluate, analyze, and report quality performance metrics, providing strategic advice to the management team.
- Collaborate with cross-functional departments to foster a culture of quality and implement best practices throughout the organization.
- Lead investigations into quality issues and customer complaints, ensuring effective root cause analysis and corrective actions.
- Manage supplier quality audits and evaluate new suppliers for quality criteria, and drive supplier quality performance improvements.
- Cultivate and lead a quality management team, ensuring operational efficiency and personnel development.
- Organize and chair quality management meetings to ensure quality objectives and plans are executed effectively.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Engineering, Quality Management, Production Management, or related fields.
- Candidates with professional qualifications and certifications in quality management, such as ASQ's CQM/OE, CQE, or CQA, are preferred.
- A minimum of 10 years of relevant experience, with extensive expertise in quality management within large-scale manufacturing or related industries.
- Preferably with experience in multinational corporations and familiarity with international quality management systems and standards.
- Proven success in leading quality improvement projects and teams.
- Profound knowledge of Total Quality Management (TQM) and familiarity with international quality system standards such as ISO 9001.
- Ability to utilize statistical tools and methodologies for data analysis and problem solving.
- Proficient in quality management software, such as SAP QM, 6Sigma, SPC, etc.
- Excellent project management and organizational skills with the capacity to manage and advance multiple projects.
- Effective communication and coordination capabilities to work efficiently across all staff levels and departments.
- The capability to motivate and mentor team members fostering a spirit of teamwork.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills that drive the team towards common goals.
- Strategic thinking with the aptitude to communicate and advance quality management strategic objectives among the company's upper management.
- Strong sense of responsibility and leadership with good judgment and decision-making skills.
- High analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to maintain focus in a fast-paced, pressured environment with sharpness and adaptability.
