Area Sales Manager-Consumer Foods and Chocolate Mass
Buhler Group in Algiers, Algeria is looking for a skilled professional to join our team as Area Sales Manager for our Consumer Foods & Chocolate Mass business. This position will be responsible to strengthen the company's business in the region, ensure the development of our customer base and implementation of business strategy.
- Devise and implement a robust sales strategy targeting the consumer foods segment.
- Maintain and grow relationships with existing key accounts across West Africa, ensure continued commitment and identify opportunities.
- Proactively seek out and develop relationships with new customers, expanding our market presence and customer base within the territory.
- Provide industry-leading expertise and insights to clients, effectively demonstrating the advantages and technical specifications of our food processing equipment.
- Coordinate with interdepartmental teams including marketing, product development, and customer service to align sales strategy with market trends and customer feedback.
- Conduct dynamic sales presentations, demonstrating equipment and providing insightful consultations at client meetings and industry-specific events.
- Negotiate and finalize deals, ensuring profitable growth and adherence to the company's sales and pricing policies.
- Serve as a liaison between key clients and internal operations to manage and execute sales agreements and deliverables efficiently.
- Forecast sales outcomes accurately, reporting regularly to senior management on sales pipeline, key account status, and market opportunities.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business administration, Food Technology, or a relevant field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in capital sales, with specific experience in the bakery and confectionery equipment industry is highly preferred.
- Experience in agrifood industry is an added advantage.
- Proven track record working in large corporate or multinational environments, with a strong background in tendering, commercial negotiations, contract terms, and overall deal structuring.
- Fluent communication skill in English, French and Arabic language.
