Field Service Engineer/ Technician (Optical Vacuum Coating Technologies)
Buhler Group in Türkiye is looking for a skilled and passionate engineer/technician to join our team as a Field Service Engineer/Technician for our Optics & Energy Business Unit, specifically supporting our Vacuum Thin-Film Coating Technologies business area. This position will be responsible for providing services to the customers during the installation of the machines and their entire life cycle.
- Install, inspect, start-up, troubleshoot and repair production equipment
- Performing maintenance jobs on machine basis
- Inspect and recommend parts/maintenance/modifications of Bühler machines as per our customers' requirements
- Create site activity reports both to be shared with customers and internal reports
- Ensure the quality of the activities carried out as per Bühler standards
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders (project managers & technical specialists etc.) and customer's team during startups and/or maintenance tasks
- Promotes our products and services to our customers
- Coordinate all tasks with other functions within the Business Units and region in English as common language
- Sharing experience and feedback on other projects and functions
- Compliance with health & safety standards, processes, procedures, and tools
- Technical vocational school degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, or a related field
- Minimum 5 years of experience in maintenance, technical service, or a relevant industrial environment
- Strong mechanical and electrical maintenance, installation, and troubleshooting experience
- Experience in the Optics & Energy Business Unit, particularly in Vacuum Thin-Film Coating Technologies, is preferred
- Basic knowledge of automation systems
- Fluency in English
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel
- Residency in Ankara or willingness to relocate
- Strong team player with the ability to work in a matrix and international environment
- Agile, proactive, self-motivated, and results-oriented
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills
