Buhler Inc. seeks a full-time Sales Development Representative based in Cary, NC. The primary duty of the Sales Development Representative is to support department and customer by managing sales tools and platform, including Navigator, CRM etc., and to coordinate sales and marketing activities and strengthen sales execution processes. Specific duties include: 1) Manage sales tools and processes and coordinate with Sales Account Managers in Plant and Equipment Sales for Leybold Optics. 2) Create quotations and technical documents for customers in collaboration with technologists and engineers. 3) Maintain commercial documents for customer. 4) Support Leybold Optics marketing events in region, including virtual events, campaign, and tradeshows. 5) Compile comprehensive market analysis reports for the thin film vacuum coating industry detailing competitive dynamics and customer insights, along with strategic recommendations, and support sales teams by identifying market trends and implementing targeted advertising campaigns to enhance brand visibility. 6) Develop and design compelling marketing materials that effectively communicate brand messages and engage target audiences, including collaborate with industry-specific magazines to align content with strategic goals, enhancing visibility and driving customer engagement. 7) Coordinate with Leybold Optics account manager to make competitive analyses and provide monthly sales forecast and opportunity pipeline tracking for individual campaigns. 8) Back up sales account managers for customer communication including possible site visits. 9) CRM Management, including: manage CRM system with quality data, qualify leads, and analyze business opportunities, and participate in the design, planning, and implementation of marketing and service processes in CRM environment in close collaboration with internal business users/stakeholders and the sales department; plan and execute continuous improvements/adjustments of existing CRM processes, especially for new Sales channels, e.g., Inside Sales, Marketing Automation; and support the increase of CRM user adoption by acting as go-to person for CRM power users, creating documentation and video instructions. Domestic and international travel required up to 15% of the time.
These are the skills you'll need
This position requires a Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Graphic Communication and Media Strategy; Marketing; Sales; Business; or a related field and two (2) years of related experience. Must have one (1) year of experience with each of the following: 1) Supporting marketing events, such as virtual events, campaigns, and tradeshows. 2) Compiling market analysis reports for the thin film vacuum coating industry detailing competitive dynamics and customer insights, along with strategic recommendations, identifying market trends and implementing targeted advertising campaigns to enhance brand visibility. Must have two (2) years of experience with each of the following: 1) Developing and designing marketing materials to communicate brand messages and engage target audiences. 2) CRM Management, including: managing CRM system with quality data, qualifying leads, and analyzing business opportunities, and participating in the design, planning, and implementation of marketing and service processes in CRM environment. All experience may have been gained concurrently. Domestic and international travel required up to 15% of the time. Salary: $60, 902 to $80, 000/year.
